More than a social group, "The Salon" is a personal growth experience that will encourage you to better live the life you really want, through the exploration of your most powerful feminine attributes, many of which you may find, you have discarded or downplayed in your quest to be "equal" in a post-feminist culture, or to be the good mother, or the good wife you thought you were supposed to be.

That growth is supported by a group of safe, like-minded “Sister Goddesses”, women that all agree that happy, supported, radiant women are the salvation of our personal fulfillment,relationships, community, and our planet.  Warning: Expect very frank discussions about sexuality and language that some may find offensive. At some point in the very near future, our great nation will officially declare the next leader of of the “free” world.

From a field of infinite possibilities, that pivotal decision will take the world down very different paths; from that point in time, a whole host of possibilities will be eliminated from any probability, and whole different host will increase in probability. Of course, this is true of every moment, and the decisions we make in every moment, but we will not get quantum on you here-just yet.

This particular election seems to be highlighting two very different views for the future of America. If America was a client in our office-we would probably first work with her to help her understand that these conflicting parts, while they seem total opposites, actually share a similar intention-the highest and greatest good of our nation’s health, wealth and prosperity. They just have different beliefs about how to attain this.

The conflict between our candidates is the focus; it is encouraging black/white thinking and creates division, and a divided nation is an uncertain one. And any good hypnotist knows (and any good quantum physicist) states of uncertainty are highly suggestible states. A singular focus of attention in any one particular way, will change all of the reality that is experienced as a consequence.

The POWER OF BELIEF on the QUANTUM World and our physical bodies, is the focus of our next FREE Meet Up as we share the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza, “Hypnosis and Health: Dispenza’s “You are the Placebo” as an intro to his Tampa presentations in early 2017. The Hypnosis Education Association of Florida is holding their November conference “Hypnosis: From the Inside Out”, in Orlando with some amazing presentations at an incredible price and open to anyone interested in the field.

We here at Tampa Bay Hypno-Therapy are getting ready to wrap up 2016 so, December 10th is our LAST presentation of the 1-day ""Master Mind Training: Self-Hypnosis; Unlock the Hidden Power of Your Mind", December 10th 9-4pm. Alright Goddesses! During last month's discussion on "Surrender" we all agreed that surrendering to our own TRUTHS, who are we and what do we REALLY want, was an essential part of claiming our "Goddess" potential.

As a follow up, our next presentation of the Goddess Salon will be a 2 part discussion beginning in May where we will be exploring: " As Goddesses, what do we want from our partners?".

We'll discuss our wants and needs from men, or others in our lives, and whether our "wants" are realistic.  We'll discuss some basic differences between how men and women's brains are wired and the challenges this presents to the Goddess.

In June, we will follow this discussion up with a emphasis on ways to get what we want from our partners.  You should walk away with some effective tools for making requests for what you want (tools that are useful in ALL of your relationships!).

There is a 5.00 donation requested to help offset the costs of room and snacks.

Goddess: a female god or deity; a woman of extraordinary beauty and charm; a greatly admired or adored woman

Salon: A salon is a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine the taste and increase the knowledge of the participants through conversation.

Group description: An experimental, and experiential, group of smart, bold contemporary women coming together monthly to explore and stretch the roles and definitions of what it means to be an “empowered” woman in a post-feminist 21st Century. While our mothers fought to be equal, their power was defined through the lenses, rules and structures of a male dominated culture. It is the mission and intention of this group to expand those definitions; to stretch our minds, hearts and spirits by delving deep into new paradigms of female empowerment in our modern world through a sharing and celebration of our collective wisdom, experience, and knowledge base-as women. Topics will change monthly but you can realistically expect that we will always be headed into the wild and unchartered territories of our feminine identity through completely safe, candid conversation, lots of laughter, and genuine support.

This group has been in the making for over a year and is expected to fill quickly. The group is free at this time, although we do suggest a $5.00 donation to help us cover the cost of hosting.
